MICHELLE VINCENT, R.P(Q)
REGISTERED PSYCHOTHERAPIST (Qualifying)
Hello!
My name is Michelle Vincent (she, her). I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. I hold an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Laurentian University and am currently completing my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University. I am bilingual in French and English and look forward to supporting clients with curiosity, empathy, and respect.
I believe therapy should feel like a calm and supportive place where you can slow down, take a breath, and speak openlywithout pressure. Life can bring moments that feel confusing, overwhelming, or emotionally intense. My role is to offer aspace where you can pause, reflect, and make sense of your experiences while feeling supported and understood.
My approach blends person-centered care with modalities like Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Emotion FocusedTherapy (EFT), and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). This allows me to tailor the process to your needs, whether youare seeking practical strategies, deeper emotional exploration, or a combination of both. As we work together, we focus onunderstanding your internal world, strengthening your coping, and building confidence in your ability to move throughdifficult moments.
Reaching out for support is a meaningful step toward caring for yourself. My intention is to offer encouragement, stability, and compassion as you navigate your healing journey in a way that feels authentic and right for you.
