Who is Driving Your Relationships?
Our coping strategies often begin as ways to keep us safe. Whether it's working hard to prove ourselves, staying strong to "get through it", or criticizing ourselves for mistakes, these strategies develop for a reason. Over time, they can shape how we relate to ourselves and to others. In this workshop, we'll explore common protective patterns and how they influence our relationships, emotions, and sense of self. Participants will learn how to recognize these protectors, and understand the reasons we feel certain emotions. You will walk away with practical tools for emotional processing which can help us form genuine, secure connections.

This session will be hosted virtually, via Zoom, and a link will be provided upon registration.

The Loneliness Epidemic: Understanding The Neuroscience of Connection & Belonging
In this one-hour Lunch & Learn, we’ll explore the neuroscience of loneliness and why meaningful connection can become difficult following trauma, loss, and disrupted attachment. We’ll examine how these experiences can reshape the brain’s capacity to trust, connect, and feel safe with others, as well as what happens neurologically and emotionally when we experience prolonged loneliness.
Participants will leave with a deeper understanding of the brain science behind loneliness and practical therapeutic perspectives for supporting reconnection with self and others.

Moving from Numbed Out and Overwhelmed to Emotionally Balanced
In this one-hour Lunch & Learn, we’ll explore interoception—the brain’s ability to sense, interpret, and make meaning of signals from within the body—and the profound impact trauma can have on this internal communication system. When we struggle to recognize or trust our body’s signals, sensations may feel completely disconnected, muted and difficult to detect, or amplified and overwhelming.
We’ll examine how disrupted interoception can contribute to emotional dysregulation, difficulty identifying needs, and vulnerability to co-occurring concerns, and why rebuilding this mind-body connection can be an important part of healing.Series Date: To Be Announced
This session will be hosted virtually, via Zoom, and a link will be provided upon registration.
